Ultra speed, ultra silent
Zeelander 8
We were very happy to be part of the development of the Zeelander 8 – a Dutch built high speed luxury yacht. This project brought us to a new dimension within high speed yachting: ultra-silence.
We concentrated on the right balance between naval architecture and a clever use of a composite structure.
In the end, the way the engine room is insulated and the hull is designed, made the Zeelander 8 an almost unbelievable combination of silence and speed, never delivering more sound than 65 dBA.

Earlier we talked about our in-house visualisation expertise. And now it is time to address step number two of our 5-step approach: material specification.
At Sea Level, thanks to our experience with typical maritime materials, we can visualize these materials in a highly authentic way, taking aspects such as texture, pattern, finish and reflection into account.
We dare to say that, in the end, through our high resolution graphics we can make visualisations almost real.

Sustaining sustainability
METS 2024
To say that this year’s METS was orientated at sustainability would be an understatement. And visiting the different pavilions we felt really at home with this subject that concerns us all.
At Sea Level we are looking into the effect of lightweight materials and clever hull shapes that make designs more energy efficient. There is a world to gain as we dive deep into this matter and you will definitely hear from us as it comes to new insights and learnings.
