LOOKING FOR PROBLEMS!

Over 25 years of facing challenges

It may sound a little peculiar, but at Sea Level we actually enjoy a problem - or two, three, or even five, for that matter. Throughout our time as naval architects, we’ve encountered a wide variety of complex issues. Nine times out of ten, we’ve managed to overcome them with surprisingly straightforward solutions.

These days, most of the challenges we tackle involve what we call Feature Integration Technology. If you haven’t already, you can read all about it in the latest issue of SuperYacht Times.

And if you think you’ve got a problem we could help solve, just drop us a message!

FIELD RESEARCH (movie)

Understanding High Speed Craft operators

We call it field research — but two of our crew definitely had a field day!
This September, our naval architects Tijmen and Gilbert got hands-on experience with all the ins and outs of handling high-speed craft, earning their RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate along the way.

Throughout the day, their skippering skills were put to the test: from man-overboard drills and high-speed manoeuvring to emergency braking and port steering, they tackled it all.

In the end, they had plenty of fun — and, according to their certificates, they also learned a thing or two!

MONACO YACHT SHOW 2025 (movie)

Old friends, new energy

At this year’s MYS, we particularly enjoyed — and were a little proud of — recognizing some of our past projects and reconnecting with old friends who were part of them. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to encounter the results of our work firsthand.

Projects like 'Valor' - 'Lady Marina' - 'Boardwalk' (by Feadship), Zeelander 8, Reborn Yachts and many Heesen Yachts reminded us of how much progress we’ve made — both at Sea Level and as an industry as a whole — over the past three decades. The experience has given us a renewed sense of energy and inspiration for the years ahead.

We’d love for you to join us on that journey — with your own projects or ideas.
